This is a photo of Claudia Maria Arevalo-Lowe. She was my friend and a woman whom I respected for her determination,
her personal strength as she dealt with COPD and for all the dreams she dared to dream as well as the ones she encouraged
me to dream. She and I founded Women With A Unique Soul to have a place where women could be themselves and find the
love and support that is so hard to find in this life. I miss this lady with all of my heart.

Claudia's Star
Only nine days after losing Claudia, on February 10, 2005, we lost Jenoka Vivian Goldsmith. She was known to most
people as MoonChyld. Moon was a very honest person, very intelligent and held more wisdom than I can ever hope for. She loved
every creature that graced our world. She was proud of her Native American heritage and I was proud to call her my friend.

You Live Forever In My Heart
I'm stumbling
through life trying to stay busy, While my thoughts keep wandering back to you. So many things we shared through the
years, How lucky we are for having known you!
We've shared struggles and dealt with pain, Dared to dream
and laughed at reality each day. Now I'm searching for an explanation I can believe, It just doesn't seem right that
you were called away.
You taught us to put things in perspective, To enjoy today and leave hurts from yesterday
behind. You reminded us that life is full of powerful storms, But they leave fresh air and sunshine for us to find.
You
told us to watch the lightening and appreciate it, So we opened our eyes to what we thought we should fear. You encouraged
us all and you touched our hearts, In our hearts, you will always be right here.
Your body grew tired while
your spirit grew stronger, Then your time came to take your place among the stars. You're a guardian of the universe
now, my friend, Soaring on wings, dancing around Mars.
We will miss you and remember you, Forever!

From the time that I was a young girl, my grandmother always told me that death comes in threes. When someone
from my mother's home town passed away, everyone took a deep breath and waited to see who the next one would be. I thought
they were wrong, it seemed so strange that they could be right. On May 12, 2005, death came to WWAUS for the third time in
only a few short weeks. My dear friend, Peaches, succumbed to a brain tumor. She will never be forgotten and I will carry
on allowing my inner child to run free to honor her playful spirit.

Dear Peaches
I sat here tonight and tried to find words
To express how I really feel.
I just cannot accept that you won't be here,
Losing you just doesn't seem real.
You've made me laugh so many times,
Touched my heart with shared tears.
I never imagined life without you, my friend,
We had so many plans for the coming years.
I guess God needed another angel,
One with the gift of acceptance for all.
You knew it was a job you were meant to do,
So you looked up and answered his call.
Your time here on earth came to an end,
But you will always live within the heart of me.
Your laughter, your smile, your gentle touch,
Are forever stored in my memories.
Love,

The first lady of WWAUS to pass on was Cher Cadwallader in November of 2003. This lady always took the time to make sure
that the ladies were remembered on their birthdays, their anniversaries and any occasion when she felt they needed to be acknowledged.
The thing I will always remember is the wonderful smile she was always so eager to wear.
