| Great Grandmother Pittsenbarger |
This is my Great-Great-Grandmother
Pittsenbarger or so I was told. There is a story behind the name Pittsenbarger and many different variations on the spelling.
Apparently, this is about as far back as this lineage can be traced since the family took this name to replace their original
family name.

These are the Martins, grandparents of both Lelia
Mae Doles and Georgia Doles. They once owned the area that is now known as Hawk's Nest in Fayette County, WV.

This is a photo of the old Doles Homestead near Chilicothe,
Ohio. Standing on the porch are Tom Doles, Lelia Doles and Chester Doles. I do not know the identity of the infant sitting
on the porch. The home was later destroyed by fire.

Samuel Doles, a son of Thomas and Harriet Rhinehart
Doles. He was a one armed man and always posed himself in such a way to keep that fact from being obvious in photos.
A photo of Thomas Doles, (son), during his service
years. He is the first man to the left in the middle row. (With a moustache) The writing on the back of the original photo
says, Thomas Doles during the Resurrection of the Phillipines. Notice the man standing there by the cook.......
